Opportunity to visit the lagoon city of Venice, which can be easily reached from the hotel in approx. 20 minutes by public transport.

Tour information and bike hire (if booked). Firstly on the cycle path over the Liberty Bridge to Venice. Take the ferry to the Lido and continue by bike via Pellestrina to Chioggia with its marvellous view over the sea. A quiet little town that is reminiscent of Venetian maritime rule and invites you to linger in one of the typical fish restaurants.

Before you start the stage, you should take some time to enjoy the flair of the Venetian lagoon. Today you cycle mainly along the ancient course of the Bacchiglione river, which was once travelled by cargo ships, the so-called ‘burci’. Once you arrive in Abano Terme, the marvellous thermal water pools await you at the hotel.

Once again, the Bacchiglione is the guiding line. The route leads through fertile fields towards Vicenza. The city that the star architect of the Middle Ages, Palladio, helped to achieve world fame. Numerous villas and palaces still bear his signature today and characterise the cityscape. The Teatro Olimpico and the Basilica are a must-see for every visitor. Beautiful squares also invite you to take a cappuccino break.

From Vicenza, the route follows beautiful paths towards Marostica, famous for its castle and the stone chessboard in the main square. Now it's not far to Bassano del Grappa with its covered wooden bridge and the famous brandy, grappa.

There are a few small hills to conquer in the morning, then the only longer climb of the tour to Asolo. The idyllic village of Roman origin invites you to take your first break. The route then leads slightly downhill to the world-famous Prosecco wine-growing region and on to Treviso with its many sights.

Firstly, the route leads along the River Sile to Casale. Now it's not far back to the starting point of the trip. The accommodation is located on the mainland off Venice with excellent bus connections to the lagoon city.

After breakfast, individual return journey or start of your extension.
