Sporty cycle holidays

when cosy is not enough

You can take a leisurely or sporty approach to cycling holidays. If you prefer the latter, our sporty cycle tours are just right for you. They offer you challenging daily stages with more kilometres than our other cycle tours or with greater differences in altitude. At the same time, they take you through beautiful landscapes and towns, combining sportiness and enjoyment.

The choice of holidays is large

With the sporty cycle tours presented on this page, you can discover the beauty of Andalusia for yourself, for example. Experience 1,001 nights in the evening, fascinating monuments, a rich culture and landscapes that have some long climbs in store for you. Perhaps you are travelling with us from Innsbruck to Lake Garda? Then you can look forward to marvellous mountain panoramas as you cycle through the Alps on the Reschen Pass.

These are just two of the regions we have selected for sporty cycle tours. There are other attractive options that combine sportiness and enjoyment. Take a look for yourself. You can recognise the sporty cycle tours in our offer by the difficulty levels, which range from 1 to 4. Level 3 stands for moderately difficult and level 4 for challenging tours. On medium-difficulty variants, for example, you will be travelling to the coast and inland areas of the island of Majorca, which also has a quiet side with olive groves, orange plantations and small idyllic villages. Another medium-difficulty cycle tour takes you to the Luberon in the heart of Provence, where lavender fields, vineyards, beautiful villages and colourful markets await you.

Some tours require a particularly high level of fitness

The two tours already presented in Andalusia and on Lake Garda belong to difficulty level 4, while the tours from Regensburg to Prague and from Prague to Vienna are equally challenging. There are some steep climbs here, but also many rewards for ambitious cyclists: magnificent castles, important sights in Prague such as the Charles Bridge and St Vitus Cathedral, a Czech beer or two and breathtakingly beautiful river landscapes.

As you can see: Of course, we have also put together tours for the trained cyclists among our customers that take them through some of the most beautiful regions of Europe and show them their best sides: Of course, we have also put together trips for the trained cyclists among our customers, which take them through some of the most beautiful regions of Europe and show their best sides.
