Individual arrival in Waren. In the late afternoon, information meeting and bike handover (if booked). The town surrounded by lakes will be your host for the next few days. Typical Nordic brick buildings such as St. Mary's Church or Waren's old town hall create the charming atmosphere of the old town. Restaurants, cafés and bars invite you to linger.

The Mecklenburg Lake District is also known as the “Land of a Thousand Lakes”. Today you will get to know two of the numerous lakes and experience an almost maritime atmosphere on the shores. Your route takes you to the Damerower Werder bison reserve. The towns of Klink, Malchow and Damerow mark the stages on your way back to Waren.

With a bit of luck, you may spot sea eagles or golden eagles in the sky as your tour today takes you through the Müritz National Park. From the Bolter Canal, you return to Waren by boat via Klink or Röbel (depending on the season). Alternatively, you can cycle back to Waren from the jetty in Klink or Röbel.

Lake Torgelow is part of the nature reserve of the same name. An island in the lake, which is around 150 to 200 years old, is home to cormorants. Historic buildings such as the Torgelow manor house bear witness to human architecture.

Get to know the Müritz, the largest inland lake in Germany located exclusively on German territory. Your tour takes you past places such as Rechlin, Ludorf, Röbel and Klink. If you wish, you can board the boat from Röbel and enjoy wonderful views on the way back to Waren.
