Welcome briefing in the afternoon; afterwards you receive your rental bikes. You will have enough time to discover Emden with its harbour and the museumship. Or you should try the fish specialities like Matjes or the famous North Sea Shrimps.

By ferry in two hours to the Island Borkum, biggest East Frisian Island with offshore climate. Explore the Island on 130 km bike paths or cycle along the 28 km long sandy beach. Relaxation pure! In the late afternoon you go back to Emden where you stay overnight again.

You cycle to picturesque fisher village Greetsiel, the biggest crab-fisher port of Weser-Ems region. Don’t pass by without having a couple of shrimp. Todays journey leads you to Norden.

By ferry in one hour to the Island Norderney which is the oldest health-bath on the North Sea and has been sought after for more than 200 years by persons looking for recuperation. This Island is ideally suited to be explored by bicycle. Enjoy the Island, the beach-life and National Park Wadden Sea.

Along old fortresses you cycle to Dornum with its beautiful water castle and on Wittmund with two impressing smock mills. The destination for today is Jever that became famous for its beer and its more than thousand year old history.

Today you reach Aurich. Take a stroll thru the beautiful pedestrian zone and enjoy the castle. Later on you cycle along the Ems-Jade-Channel nearly car-free to Emden.

Easy - East Frisia and the islands are ideal areas for cycling. All routes are mostly flat! Cycling is mostly on tarmac or paved farm tracks, occasionally on small side roads. The routes are particularly suitable for beginners and cycle groups. All ferry crossings including the bike are included!
