Itinerary

Individual arrival to the Bad Bederkesa mud spa. You will receive your bike (if booked) and important travel information in the late afternoon. Afterwards, visit the corn mill or Bederkesa Castle, for example, and enjoy a delicious dinner (included).

You cycle through a beautiful Geest landscape to the harbour town of Bremerhaven with its many sights shaped by the sea, such as the German Emigration Centre, the German Maritime Museum and the lighthouse. You cycle back in a relaxed manner via the towns of Schiffdorf and Sellstedt.

Dorum on the North Sea is your destination today, which you will reach on a journey through the Geest and Marsch. The shrimp boats in the harbour are picturesque. The Obereversand lighthouse in Dorum offers you a beautiful view of the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In Wingst, you can climb the German Olymp observation tower today. Here you have a beautiful view of the Elbe-Weser region as far as Cuxhaven. The zoo in Wingst is also worth a visit. You cycle back to Bad Bederkesa through a varied Nordic landscape.

The Ahlenmoor is the largest raised bog in the Cuxhaven region and your destination today. Your tour takes you via the idyllic municipality of Ihlienworth and the beautiful half-timbered old town of the North Sea resort of Otterndorf at the mouth of the Elbe to Lake Flögeln and back.

After breakfast, individual return journey or start of your extension.
