Itinerary

Individual journey to Paris. Enjoy an evening in the beautiful French capital with its highlights such as the Eiffel Tower, Sacré-Cœur, Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame.

You cycle through the Saint Germain neighbourhood and through the Parc de Sceaux to Versailles. Here you can visit the palace or the gardens.

Your route takes you to the famous forest of Rambouillet and on to the castle and French gardens of Madame de Maintenon, a mistress of Louis XIV. Today's destination is the commune of Epernon.

A highlight of this day is the city of Chartres. Its cathedral, officially consecrated in 1260, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your destination is the beautiful commune of Illiers Combray, which Marcel Proust immortalised in his writings.

First visit the gardens of Tiron Abbey, then the municipality of Nogent-le-Rotrou with its medieval fortifications in the Perche Regional Nature Park. The tour ends in the village of Rémalard.

You cycle through the Normandy-Maine Regional Park to Alençon with its monuments such as the Basilica of Notre-Dame. The lace produced in Alençon is a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage site.

Today's highlights include Carrouges Castle and the thermal town of Bagnoles-de-l'Orne with its many buildings in the Art Deco and Belle Époque styles.

You reach the town of Domfront: the ruins of the medieval castle are reminiscent of one of the mightiest fortresses in Europe. You will then experience one of the largest waterfalls in north-west France. Today's destination is the municipality of St Hilaire du Harcouët.

Enjoy the Norman landscape once again. Finally, a highlight and UNESCO World Heritage Site awaits you: Mont Saint Michel with its eponymous parish and fortified abbey.

After breakfast: transfer to Saint Malo railway station and individual return journey.
